North Salt Lake, Utah - An unhinged Reddit user who regularly calls for the gunshot murder of Elon Musk, President Donald Trump, and other so-called "nazis" has been identified as an IT administrator for a local middle school.
Thanks to a credible tip, counter-extremist researchers with the Justice Report can name 39-year-old Mason David Luxenberg, aka "MasonL87," as the man behind a series of death threats aimed at the United States Federal government.

Luxenberg—an IT professional currently working in close proximity to children at Sunset Ridge Middle School in West Jordan, Utah— would be one of several users pushing the boundaries of Brandenburg vs Ohio, using the platform to urge others to maim and kill President Trump, US Director of the Department of Government Efficiency Elon Musk, and even members of the American nationalist group Patriot Front, all of whom he derides as "nazis."
"I do like the image of Trump being cut in half…" said Luxenberg in one of several Reddit posts. In a separate thread that has since been deleted for its violent threats, he said, "I want him dead now. From a very painful wound. I want him to know fear as he slowly bleeds out."
In one thread that asked Reddit users what they thought of Trump's recent flurry of executive orders, Luxenberg simply replied, "Put (Trump) in the ground."

"Folks: if I say I want to see some dead fuckin' nazis, and you give me shit saying you're offended by that? That's a YOU problem," Luxenberg said on Bluesky, an X/Twitter alternative often viewed as a social media alternative for the radical left. "Nazis deserve nothing. No respect, no admiration, no oxygen. We had a fucking war about this. Justice for them begins with 5 unsupervised minutes and a baseball bat."
Luxenberg's aggressively violent rhetoric targets a broad spectrum of perceived political opponents, focusing exclusively on right-wingers and Republicans. In the case of Elon Musk, the nearly 40-year-old video gamer, podcaster, and school aide appeared to order fellow Redditors to "shoot him" dead.

"Fucking shoot him. He's not a elected official, he's not *protected* in any way. Just take him out, problem solved," Luxenberg demanded in a Reddit post dated February 1st.
"While he’s blaming D-E-I, I’m just here wishing he’d just D-I-E!!!" he exclaimed in another. When it comes to right-wing activists and groups like Patriot Front, Luxenberg said "Shoot em. In this country we kill Nazis."
In various other posts visible on Luxenberg's Reddit profile—which is still publicly accessible at the time of press—he appears to support the concept of Luigi Mangione copycat strikes directed at so-called "nazis." Mangione, the man accused of killing United Health CEO Brian Thompson over predatory insurance practices, has become an influential figure in the extremist milieu despite his own set of political beliefs, which, so far, appear to defy a clear partisan label.

"At least this way a message is sent. So yeah, I’m all for more heads on pikes...I recognize that Luigi moved the needle. Now we need more like that," Luxenberg said.
Counter-extremist researchers were able to confirm Luxenberg as the man behind these threats thanks to dozens of statements and photos uploaded by Luxenberg himself. On Reddit, the "MasonL87" account regularly posts selfies and other personally identifiable information, matching photos and locations listed on Facebook accounts, as well as a LinkedIn page tied to his real name.
Alarmingly—on the same account he would use to call for the murder of the President of the United States—Luxenberg would post pictures of himself standing inside Sunset Ridge Middle School, intermixing details of his personal life with violent rhetoric.

According to a Vision statement maintained by Sunset Ridge, the majority-White middle school seeks to create "happy, healthy, fearless members of a global society," and ensure a "rigorous environment where students feel safe to take appropriate risks." However, the continued employment of Luxenberg appears to be totally at odds with this mission, and it is currently unknown if the school will turn a blind eye to his credible online threats.
The Justice Report contacted school principal Audrey Fish for comment via telephone but did not hear back in time for a response.
Luxenberg—who is Jewish—grew up in Chicago but relocated to Salt Lake City about a decade ago. Despite his apparent hatred of Conservatives and so-called "Nazis," comments made by Luxenberg suggest he takes comfort living inside the ruby-red, majority-White state of Utah, noting how "pleasant" it is and how safe he feels.

In other posts, however, the Jewish extremist admits he feels a certain unease by the influence conservatives wield in local politics and how monolithic the Church of the Latter Day Saints appears to be in his neighborhood of Salt Lake City.
"I live in fucking Utah. I mean, our state hasn’t volunteered to start mass-producing swastika armbands (yet), but the majority of folks here are still gobbling that boot leather ravenously," he commented in a Reddit post dated December of 2024.
A video gamer and pitbull lover, Luxenberg was allegedly diagnosed with mastocytosis, a medically nebulous disease that causes irritable bowel at apparently random intervals. The stress caused by this condition has left him to consider a voluntary transition to a colostomy bag.
In his downtime, Luxenberg reads comics, watches anime, and has been known to participate in Youtube podcasts. In one episode, he would appear next to Chris Chipman——brother of the infamous Bob Chipman of MovieBob fame—where he was introduced as Mason "Kill all Nazis" Luxenberg.

"No strongly worded letter or legal maneuver or fine will move the needle the way one little man kissing the concrete did," Luxenberg said. "We as a society have been pushed to this. Our choices now are either push back or take it in the ass."
Mason David Luxenberg is just one of many on the extremist fringe that has called for violence against Trump and his voter base, with such threats only magnifying since the 2024 presidential elections.
After Elon Musk's acquisition of X/Twitter, which has transformed the platform into a right-wing echo chamber, social media platforms like Reddit and Bluesky have become the preferred weapon of choice for left-wing individuals to air unhinged threats and violent disdain with little to no moderation.
Some have even used the platforms to orchestrate doxxing and harassment campaigns of federal employees, fueled purely out of disdain for the new Trump Administration.
According to the X/Twitter account Reddit Lies, which shines a light on the abhorrent behavior of Reddit's psudoanonymous user base, certain Reddit boards have become cheerleading hubs for the assassination of both Trump and Musk. The violent threats and ghoulish commentary would prove so credible that it would prompt action by federal authorities and force Reddit moderators to police the speech or face potential consequences.

Vitriolic attacks launched from the American left stem from the baseless assertion that Trump and his appointed functionaries—such as Pete Hegseth, JD Vance, Jewish speechwriter Darren Beattie, and the aforementioned Musk—are 100% dyed-in-the-wool national socialists aiming to crush civil liberties with the stroke of a pen.
Evidence of this notion appears unconvincing, however, with anti-fascist disinformation at the root of most "fascism" accusations cast at MAGA republicanism.
It would not be the first time left-wing extremists have been exposed for their role in using social media platforms to call for the death of their perceived enemies on the right.

Just last month, a federally convicted pedophile who was once caught with a "massive stash" of child sex abuse material in his New Orleans home was unmasked as the "antifascist" behind “SpaghettiJesus,” an unhinged X/Twitter account that regularly calls for the death of White people, Christians, and law enforcement.
Thanks to credible information submitted to the Justice Report, counter-extremism researchers were able to confidently name 44-year-old Benjamin Cole Rosenthal as the Tier 2 sex offender behind the account while also shining a light on his familial ties to the legendary NPR broadcaster Andrei Codrescu.
In September, internet sleuths identified 40-year-old Thomas Crosby Stephenson, a prominent Texas-based public defender, as the man behind a series of bone-chilling posts that called for the state-sanctioned mass murder of January 6th protestors. The lawyer, operating on X/Twitter as "@tcstephenson818," would also express his desire to see White Americans racially replaced by force through open borders policies.
In February of 2024, counter-extremists unmasked a member of the anti-White extremist movement, commonly referred to as “Antifa,” as 31-year-old David J. Kneusel of Thornton, Colorado, aka “Socialist Stan.” Kneusel, an unhinged militant for the leftist terror organization the John Brown Gun Club, had penned several social media screeds calling for the assassination of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis before scrubbing most of his accounts.
