Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania - A lifelong anarcho-communist writer, activist, and prize-fighter has been "cancelled" by his former comrades over newly unearthed allegations of rape and sexual abuse.
According to a report written by the Pittsburgh-based Antifa cell, PGH Counter Info, 44-year-old Joseph William LeVasseur is now facing multiple accusations that he groped, raped, manipulated, and even roofied fellow "antifascists" across numerous states for what is believed to be decades.

Counter-extremist researchers with the Justice Report had already identified LeVasseur and had been monitoring him for months prior to the allegations. After he was exposed, LeVasseur appears to have deleted his many social media accounts in shame, ending a years-long propaganda campaign that often took aim at "fascists," "liberals," and, increasingly, "tankies."
The PGH Counter Info report would go on to sound the alarm on LeVasseur, who allegedly prefers to victimize lonely individuals, young autistics, the disabled, and the trans-identified for his own sexual gratification.
"Joe LeVasseur, a Pittsburgh area self-proclaimed anarchist, has engaged in serial physical, sexual, and verbal abuse of romantic partners over several decades. He poses a danger to anyone in a relationship with him," wrote PGH Counter Info. "(He) targets vulnerable people including autistic people, trans people, people significantly younger than him, and people who he perceives of as quiet and isolated."
According to first-hand accounts, LeVasseur has physically assaulted, abused, and raped multiple individuals within the antifascist movement. Reported "survivors" include a transgender individual in Pittsburgh, two disabled "trans" non-binary individuals in Portland, Oregon, and at least one woman in "Eastern Pennsylvania."
Among the list of chilling accusations includes an incident where LeVasseur was said to have plied a young anarchist named "Carson" with date rape drugs during a night out in Portland.'
LeVasseur is an anarchist social media influencer who often attacks Marxist-Leninists and recalls key facts/historical tidbits on TikTok and Instagram. After the rape allegations were made public, he proceeded to delete his social media accounts in shame, but some of the content had already been archived. Video: Joe LeVasseur, TikTok.
"Carson was extremely nauseous and vomiting, describing the hangover as worse than any they’d had before. After reflecting, they realized their experience was consistent with being drugged / roofied," it continued.
A trained Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and former MMA fighter, the report alleges LeVasseur used his physical strength and imposing size to violently overpower his victims during sex.
Some survivors recounted his disturbing tendency to choke his partners until they blacked out, including a transgender Antifa member known as "Morgan."

"At one point, while Morgan was too intoxicated to indicate discomfort or danger, LeVasseur choked them unconscious three times during sex without consent or checking in. Over time, Joe LeVasseur began to rape Morgan / hurt Morgan physically and emotionally through sex by engaging in violations while the act was already in progress. Physical abuse escalated to shoving / smacking and throwing things closer to them," read the report.
"Morgan left the relationship after an instance of physical abuse where within the same 24 hour period, Joe LeVasseur kicked them, hard, and then afterwards, threw an approximately 50lb kettle bell at them while coming toward them and screaming," it continued.
According to the report, LeVasseur has joined and "burned out" of many different Antifa cells throughout the years. He has caused rifts and internal strife in cities like Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Portland, and others before leaving or being willfully removed from activist communities.

The report also alleges members of the Antifa movement once attempted to mediate some of these grievances with LeVasseur via an in-house "anarchist therapist," but he ultimately refused the sit-down, claiming his mother told him he did nothing wrong.
It then goes on to detail a long list of abuse allegations, dating all the way back to 2008. His offenses against the greater antifascist movement include coercion, misgendering, predatory behavior, sex pestering, gaslighting, domestic violence, and festishing disabled activists, among others.
"He uses his fighting skills for clout and to establish legitimacy and continues to present as an authority in anarchist and other fighting spaces," it read. "Joe LeVasseur is all over dating apps and IRL scenes, constantly trying to pick people up."
His sexual predilictions—which meld physical violence and pleasure—are not surprising considering LeVasseur's online profile.

An independent investigation revealed that his Instagram accounts once served as a promotional vehicle for his hand-drawn erotic cartoons, which often depicted muscle-bound women and orcs in various stages of undress. Some of the images also show muscled amputees and other disabled women, which tracks alongside the disturbing behavior outlined in the report.
Additionally, LeVasseur's penchant for aggressive sex can also be seen during a brief entry into the realm of online pornography. According to a page maintained by the "educational" kink website, Kink Academy, LeVasseur—under the pseudonym Joe Jitsu—once appeared in 5 videos with an unidentified partner "instructing" viewers on how to safely conduct "erotic wrestling."
His "Joe Jitsu" profile states he has been practicing BDSM for over a decade with a "large and diverse interest" in many different fetishes. Shockingly, a contact listed for "Joe Jitsu" is his riseup.net email address, a domain popular with Antifa for its alleged anonymity and the extremist political leanings of the site's admins.
Additionally, LaVassuer also proudly starred in at least one femdom, humiliation video for the adult entertainment outlet, Scissor Vixens. Titled Scissor Justice Has Been Served, LeVasseur's limp body can be seen getting choked and smothered by the legs of an adult actress to the point of collapse.
The Justice Report urges those living in Pittsburgh to be wary of accused rapist Joe LeVasseur, whose abusive tendencies could intensify now that he has been ostracized from the anarchist scene.
Armed and physically dangerous, LeVasseur is a highly competent fighter and known drug abuser, as confirmed by the report penned by PGH Counter Info.

Note: The following information was gathered by counter-extremist researchers before he was exposed by PGH Counter Info. Their findings only confirm and add to the Justice Report's documented information.
Joseph William LeVasseur is 6'5", 220lb. Originally from Rhode Island, he is a consummate extremist with documented ties to street violence in Portland, Oregon. He is a construction laborer in Pittsburgh, known for frequently bleaching or dyeing his hair. He has a series of distinctive pagan-style tattoos, including a pair of "Thor's hammer" symbols on the back of his hands.
In now-deleted social media posts, LeVasseur admits to suffering from ADHD and a rare social defect called "rejection-sensitive dysphoria." The condition is described as a "severe emotional pain because of a failure or feeling rejected," which could be a factor behind his many violent sex abuse allegations.
The PGH Counter Info report asserts that LeVasseur was once married sometime before moving away from the East Coast. Tragically, his wife would commit suicide, with LeVassuer claiming he would often have to use physical force to "restrain her" as she had been the abusive one in the relationship.
His foray into militant anarchism began in his 20s, when he moved away from home to live with fellow anarchists in Philadelphia. He then volunteered with the Antifa front organization Food Not Bombs and became an associate with the Anarchist Black Cross.
During his time as a construction laborer, LeVasseur contributed to the propaganda wing of the leftist movement by penning "zines," a cheap and easy way to disseminate anarchist talking points. One such Zine included a series titled "Overworked and Still Broke."

According to reviews of the zine by fellow Antifa members, LeVasseur used the logo of Brian Dingledine's Crimethinc to trick readers into thinking it was edgier than it was. The series would critique and profile the various types of people one can encounter on a working class job site in capitalist America.
Ironically, the second issue of his Zine, titled Overworked and Still Broke #2: And Sometimes Underemployed, included an extended essay that attacked so-called "creepy men" who target girls for sex. The Zine concluded with LeVasseur urging readers to keep an eye on sexual abusers and physically intervene if necessary.
LeVasseur has trained in combat sports for years and eventually earned his black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. According to a Sherdog fighter profile, he became a somewhat middling MMA fighter, winning two semi-professional bouts and losing four. LeVasseur claims he would write a strength training zine and anal sex guide for aspiring militants, but an online copies could not be found.
Since then, LeVasseur has thrived within American antifascism, using his physical prowess, movement experience, and clout to bob and weave through many different anarchist cells.
Ultimately, LeVasseur would use his martial arts training to assault those at odds with his twisted ideology. In 2019, the bespectacled "rapist" can be seen beating and deploying chemical weapons against right-wing protestors outside Portland's now-shuttered Cider Riot! pub.
According to the Post Millenial, the incident was said to have occurred when members of Rose City Antifa launched a vicious gang attack against Patriot Prayer, a right-wing group, during a peaceful demonstration held near the bar.
LeVassuer—along with the pub's owner, Abram Goldman-Armstrong—worked to obstruct an official investigation into the attack by state officials, with the latter allegedly deleting CCTV footage and lying to cops to cover for the bloody ambush.

“In [LeVasseaur’s] second interview on 6/13/19 he admitted that he had not been at the door during the riot and that he had not been maced and gone inside but in fact had been all over the premises patio and had maced people and engaged in a fight in the street," read a report by the Oregon Liquor Control Commission.
After leaving Portland, LeVasseur embraced social media as a powerful tool for transmitting extremist material. His many videos and Instagram posts often recalled key points in anarchist history and detailed the location of several foundational "infoshops" along the East Coast.
LeVasseur's digital tell-alls proved to be a font of information, leading counter-extremist researchers with the Justice Report to better understand people, places, and groups revered by anarchists to this day.

Since his arrival in Pittsburgh, LeVasseur can be seen in photos and videos from multiple far-left Antifa demos, sometimes referred to as "direct actions." Most notably, the Rhode Island native was spotted holding a banner that read "No Hate in Appalachia" during a now-infamous protest-turned-bombing at the University of Pittsburgh in 2023.
The event led to the arrest and conviction of Brian and Krystal Martinez-DiPippa for seriously injuring police with improvised explosives. Despite the seriousness of this brazen attack, Brian DiPippa would receive only five years in prison, while Krystal would serve three years probation.

The decision to out LeVasseur now only raises suspicion as to the true motivation behind the PGH Counter Info report, which hints at a clash of personalities in the increasingly toxic and treacherous realm of anti-White extremism.
Despite knowing of LeVasseur's alleged sex offenses for years, antifascist organizations across the country covered up his many instances of rape and abuse, and in doing so, potentially exposed new victims to their alleged abuser.
Reading between the lines of the PGH Counter Info report reveals that the decision comes on the heels of a simmering power struggle among "anti-racist action" activists in the state of Pennsylvania. After LeVassuer moved to Pittsburgh from Portland in 2021, he had apparently begun to challenge and "sideline" an influential organizer named "Becca," an alleged former love interest of LeVasseur active in the Philadelphia area.
In retaliation, "Becca" then took steps to crush this rising threat in West PA by interviewing his accusers across multiple states and working to run him out of the movement.
"Joe had made disparaging comments and immediately set about sidelining Becca, despite her being active in the antifascist scene he was attempting to organize in," read the report. "Becca recently got back in touch with one of LeVasseur’s ex’s in preparation for this warning. The ex confirmed with her that the most recent descriptions of abuse by others 'was consistent with' some of her own past experiences with Joe LeVasseur."
LeVasseur’s ability to embed himself in Antifa circles despite his alleged history of rape and sex abuse underscores a fundamental hypocrisy within the anti-White extremism movement.
These groups often advocate for justice and community protection but have repeatedly failed to protect their members from harm, instead choosing to shore up their influence among a dwindling pool of followers and chase clout online under the guise of political solidarity.
In 2019, the Antifa movement was shaken to its core after the infamous doxer and former e-celebrity Christian Exoo, aka "Anti-Fash Gordon," was accused of being a sociopathic blackmailer and sex pest by a Black trans activist.
Despite a laundry list of credible accusations, some of which allegedly involved minors and other vulnerable people in Exoo’s vicinity, many high-profile Antifa personalities would deny the allegations and close ranks around him, perceiving his value as a doxer of right-wing individuals too important to disavow.
Collectively, this group of unprincipled status-seekers would be referred to by fellow Antifa as the “trash network" and include big names like Nick Martin, Talia Ben-Ora, Heidi "GothBotAlice," Lightenburger, Daniel Harper, Kristopher Goad, and Hilary Sargent of the Anonymous Comrade Collective.
In July of 2024, a militant trans liberation activist with intimate ties to the antifascist pet project known as "Stop Cop City," was accused of rape and sexual abuse by multiple members of the now-defunct anarchist cell, "Organize Against Transphobia." The allegations came to light after leaked chats revealed that 20-year-old Matthew “Cyprus” Hartford—the wealthy son of a retired US Brigadier General—had been quietly kicked from the group.
Despite these harrowing accusations, Hartford would go on to grift thousands of dollars from the Antifa movement after he "refused" to testify before a federal Grand Jury relating to Stop Cop City terrorism. Shockingly, Hartford would ultimately be let go from the subpoena, an extremely rare gesture, leaving some to speculate he had willfully given information to police.
